OVERVIEW
PTM-120B is an upgrade product designed for the increasing production requirement of chip encapsulation & testing factories and smart card manufacturers. The brand-new design enables operators to switch chips production between 6PIN and 8PIN within 60 seconds.
It integrates short-circuit punching, open and short test, chip initialization & pre-personalization as well as reject chip punching and marking. Modular design can meet your different production requirements and maximize decreasing your investment cost.
PTM-120B can be applied to contact/contactless and dual interface chip initialization, and also can be customized according to the demands for various chip production.

General description:
The main function of the machine is to do the electrical testing or coding of chip modules in reel support.
The input to the machine is the un-encoded reel of modules.
The output of the machine is the tested or encoded reel of modules.
The machine must have the capacity to null the bad modules marking them with a hole. Also must have the capacity for changing the position of the hole.
The testing-coding should be done with multiple head units, in order to increase speed doing the testing-coding in parallel.
Possibility to change coding heads from 6 contacts modules to 8 contacts modules in an easy way.
Preferable an open system that allows including our own software, (machine with only coding heads, or with coding heads and readers).
Supplied with drivers for adapting our testing-coding software to the machine.
Very useful if the machine allows also the function of moving the module tapes from one to another reel (no coding, only for changing the direction sense of the tape at higher speed).
Also very useful if the machine can run also as a module counter, (counting of good modules and rejected modules reading the mark holes, not doing any electrical test).
