OVERVIEW
RS-101 is specially designed for Pre-laminated Inlay & contactless card production, can test each transponder’s function in sheet format automatically, support any sheet inlay and most H.F RFID chips of ISO14443A/B, NFC family, ISO15693, Sony Felica etc.
Operator can easily & quickly tell the function to each Pre-laminated inlay or final laminated sheet before card punch. Also, can make encoding job likes change keys with sheet form in mass production!
RS-101 can detect the chip protocol & exact model for most chips in market; also distinguish the mixed typed chip automatically. Connects with PC, encoding includes initialization or personalization is available. Providing customized service is welcome!
Saving H.R cost & improving capacity is the biggest advantages. This innovation ends the old operation from Manual to Automatic way. It will be the necessary tool for every Pre-lam Inlay and card manufacturer!

• ISO14443 A: NXP Mifare family (Ultralight, Ultralight C, Std 1K/4K, Plus series, DESFire series), Infineon SLE 66R35, Fudan FM11RF08, HuaHong SHC1104, GT4439 etc.
• ISO14443 B: ST SRxx series, InsideSecure PicoPass series etc.
• ISO15693: NXP ICode family likes ICode SLI, Infineon My-d family likes SRF55V02/10P, TI Tag-it series, ST LRxx series, AMIC-A9212, etc.
• NFC Family: Tag1(Topaz 512), Tag2(NTag series), Tag3(Sony Felica Lite-s), Tag4(Mifare DESFire series) and Tag V (ISO15693) protocol chips
• Customized chips like ISO14443 B for ID card, RFID micro-processor etc on requested.
FUNCTIONS
• Transponder Function Testing(M1, M2)
Mode 1 (Chip UID fast testing). During inlay production, can find the bad soldering to chip & antenna, defective transponders. Tester can be worked in off-line or PC linked ways.
Chip UID fast testing the final laminated sheet before card punch. The tester can sort out the defective transponder. The operator marking them on sheet. The statistics total input and good quantity will show on tester’s displayer.
Mode 2 (Full chip memory testing). UID in chip’s starting (1st) block/sector could be readable, but failed for chip encoding, since other sectors memory already destroyed during sheet lamination. In order to find the defective chip, need the full sector memory R&W testing for all chips.
• Chip Encoding Mode (M3, M4)
Mode 3 (Initialization encoding). The task likes writing Keys into each chip on sheet. Saving the working flow and time!
Mode 4 (Variable data encoding). Execute the job on the final laminated sheet before card punch. With this mode, all personalization data will be transmitted from PC to cards via this machine one by one card

Remarks:
• On encoding mode, test & find bad function’s chip in advance, then start encoding
• The default chip are Mifare1K, 4K, Ultralight and ICode SLI for encoding software

• Supplier will not guarantee the variable data encoding results after sheet punch to card.

• About the machine
There is the Reference Corner on the operation platform, easy to locate the testing material. Also, power port, Data port and Foot switch pedal ports are on the side of the machine.
You will see the info on the LCD screen for RFID Protocol, Chip Type,Total tested transponder numbers and good function quantity. Easy to be recognized for operator!

Q:Who will need Sheet Inlay Tester?
A: It’s the necessary and great testing tools for any H.F Inlay & RFID Card manufacturer. Too many person are so exciting when they found it!
Q: How’s the main function for such Tester?
A: Can help manufacturer to detect the function of each transponder/Inlay on the sheet form. Mainly on 3 checking point on following process:
• Find the defective bonding transponder (form of antenna & chip ). For bad ones, you may rework it manually. Improve your yield.
• Chip UID fast testing or Chip fully R/W verification for pre-laminated sheet. With this function, you can sort out & mark the bad function chips on sheet. Machine can statistic total input qty and good qty. Improve working efficiency.
• Initialization encoding into each chip on sheet. After the final sheet lamination and before card punch, may initialize/encode the chips with the same data. Off course, may find the bad function’s chip during the encoding process.
Q: What are the maximum layout sizes it can detect?
A: Whatever 3x5,3x7,3x8,4x10,6x8,6x9,7x8 as you can image. Any layout and sized will be welcome, no limitation!
Q: Is each Inlay Tester customized for client?
A: Each one tester will be made exactly as your layout. Pls don’t forget to provide us several sheets for each chip built for testing run.
For the RFID R/W functions testing, we support the most chip models in market. If you have any customized chip, we will provide the service to develop the new tester.
Q: We have different sheet layout in formats of 3 x 6, 3 x 7, 3 x 8, 4 x 4, 5 x 5, 4 x 7, 6 x 7, 8 x 7 ad 8 x 6 positions. Is it possible to check these layouts with this inlay tester?
A: Basically NO. But can be ok If each inlay’s horizontal and vertical pitch dimensions are the same, also the each layout inlay’s horizontal & vertical edges dimensions of reference corner are the same.
Since the most inlay sheet layout have different and specific dimension, each contactless card manufacturer has its’ own inlay sheet layout. So each inlay& contactless card producer has very limited layout. They need the size matched inlay tester.
For professional pre-laminated sheet inlay OEM manufacturer, yes they prefer the inlay tester can work with different sheet layout when producing different layout inlay order. At this moment, we didn’t have such flexible sized inlay tester.
Q: How this detector works?
A: Here is one brief process for your understanding:
→ Put & lay the Pre-laminates Inlay sheet onto the platform
→ Press the foot press switch pedal
→ LCD Screen displays the chip type and tested quantity
→ Scan one by one transponder/card and the bad ones will be highlighted via red LED indicator. Meanwhile the testing results will be shown on software menu of PC screen
→ Operator marks the defective Inlay/card by marker pen. Meanwhile, may rework the soldering for chip & antenna after the chip bonding process finished, which will improve the chip yield and make cost down!
→ Take away the tested sheet and repeat jobs.
Q: On placing the layout, the reader automatically detects or we have to manually trigger it?
A: Yes! There is the foot press pedal switch. The operator can easily press the switch to start the testing job.
Q: This equipment shows resonance frequency or the chip UID?
A: Each chip’s UID number will be detected and shown on machine’s LCD window. Meanwhile the testing results including UID, Working Status Parameters (Task ID name, Layout, Working Model, Port No., Date, Protocol, Chip Type, Testing good qty and total qty etc.) and other system info will be displayed on linked PC screen clearly.
The defective chip or none functional transponder will be indicated by red block on PC, meanwhile the red LED indicator will be on at the Inlay tester platform synchronously.
Q: Which kind of RFID Protocol and Chip can be supported on this tester?
A: Protocol likes ISO 14443A or B, or 15693 or Felica or NFC, also works on some microprocessor chip(CPU) card like JCOP smart cards. Pls contact us getting the available chips type list.
In additional, we can help client to develop the new chip based sheet inlay testing. It’s case by case service.
Q: Which are chip types it can detect for Reading /Writing (encoding) and which are the chip types it can detect for writing (encoding)?
A: As above stated we support the most H.F chips in global market for testing. Also, our system supports the Initialization Encoding task for some H.F RFID chips like ISO 14443A Mifare1K, Mifare 4K, Mifare Ultralight and ISO 15693 ICODE SLI. It improves the production efficiency for some key writing jobs.
At this moment, we don’t recommend to make the personalized data encoding with our sheet inlay tester & encoder due to some reasons.
Q: Can we redevelop and integrate RS101 Inlay tester & encoder into our system?
A: Yes, you can redevelopment freely!! We will provide you Software Development Kit(SDK) , API and necessary technical supports on requested!
You can develop the software for chip encoding by yourself. The data can be stored in online database (SQL).

Q: How can you help us in case we met problem occurred?
A: The inlay tester is a high-end industrial level machine, after the cruel 20Million tests run and advanced assembly. The breakdown rate is very limited.
We will prepare enough spare part likes Foot Press Pedal Switch, Fuse etc. when shipping for the order.
In case the problem happened and confirmed the reason of breakdown, we will provide you some hardware likes Main board with I/O and any replacement part. Our engineer can help you for remote analysis and figure it out. You may also send back the machine for a repair service.
Q: What’s your warranty term?
A: Normally 1 year after sale. We will provide the whole life maintenance and repair service.
