With the smart cards booming in Africa market, RSID Solutions was honored to participate and exhibit the 5^th annual meeting of the ID4Africa Movement ID4Africa 2019, which took part in Boksburg, South Africa from 18-20^th June 2019.
 
ID4Africa is an Identity-for-all Movement that accompanies African nations on their journey to develop robust and responsible Identity ecosystems in the service of development and humanitarian action. It is a tripartite with representation from African governments, development agencies and industry. ID4Africa holds an Annual Meeting to allow the Identity community to share information, report on progress, define priorities and policies and exchange experiences and best practices that could help advance national efforts across the Continent towards their collective goal of identity-for-all. ID4Africa 2019 builds on the achievements of the 4th Annual Meeting in 2018 by defining a context for the adoption and deployment of responsible identity systems, including legal frameworks, institutional arrangements, governance, data protection, privacy and human rights, with special attention to the use of identity in support of service delivery to enhance inclusion and access by all sectors of society. In addition the Annual Meeting features the largest worldwide exposition of identity solutions and technologies.
